Homestuck by Andrew Hussie

Homestuck is a webcomic that attempts to replicate the style of a text-based adventure. It began in 2009 and ran until 2016, updating sporadically with no planned release schedule. It is over 8000 pages long and features a cast of at least 100 characters, depending on how one counts.

I first began to read Homestuck in the summer after seventh grade, in 2013. I had only read the first few acts (not yet reaching Hivebent, where the trolls are introduced) when I had to go to summer camp. My two best friends that week were also Homestuck fans; a Johnkat shipper among them. He convinced me on the ship, and it's been one of my alltime favorites ever since, although my interest in the comic goes far beyond shipping.
